Indigo Kids is a collaboration between heART without borders, Hanna Institute, and Boys and Girls Club of Sonoma Valley. This program is a Toddler and Me program for ages walking to 3yrs old and a parent or guardian. In a two hour period, we explore through many arts mediums and begin integrating healing and calming methods such as breathing, calming corner time, sparkle jar meditations, yoga, and more. Indigo Kids is also heART without borders' first exploration of Rainbow Dance through Hanna Institute.
WHAT IS RAINBOW DANCE?
Rainbowdance gathers children and parents around a parachute for one hour for the purpose of enhancing social empathy, self-confidence and self-regulation. Blending storytelling, object lessons, repetitious movements set to cultural music and improvisation, Rainbowdance provides the safe structure necessary for children to develop competency and relationships.
